These terms govern your use of the QiK B.O.S app. By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
QiK B.O.S is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The app produces documents from information you enter. It does not review your transaction, does not tell you whether a document is sufficient for your purposes, and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer or from your state's motor vehicle authority.
You're granted a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may use the documents it produces for your own transactions, personal or business.
You may not resell or redistribute the app itself, reverse-engineer it, or use it to operate a competing document-generation service.
The accuracy of what you enter. The app repeats what you type. It does not verify a VIN, confirm an odometer reading, check that a seller owns what they're selling, or detect a mistake in a price.
Whether the document meets your needs. Requirements for transferring ownership vary by state and change over time. Some states require notarization, their own form, or a filing you must make separately. Where the app states a requirement, it has been checked against that state's own motor vehicle authority on the date shown. Where it has not, the app says so — and you should confirm with your DMV before relying on the document.
Information about other people. A bill of sale names two parties. If you enter another person's name, address, phone number or email, you are responsible for having a proper basis to do so and for handling their information lawfully.
Not using it for anything unlawful — including documenting a sale you have no right to make, or misrepresenting a transaction.
The app captures handwritten signatures on-screen and reproduces them on the document. Whether an electronic signature is legally binding for a given transaction in a given state is a question for you and, where it matters, for a lawyer. The app makes no representation on the point.
You need an account to use the app, because documents are stored against it and synced to your devices. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
You keep ownership of the documents you create. We store them to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy, and use them for nothing else.
You can delete your account at any time from Account → Delete Account. That permanently erases your documents and signatures and cannot be undone.
The app is currently free. If paid features are introduced, they will be sold through Apple's In-App Purchase, and this section will state what is offered, what it costs, and what happens when it ends. Payment is taken by Apple, and Apple's refund policy applies — we cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases ourselves.
Any auto-renewing subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings, not in this app.
We try to keep the app working and your documents available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change. Keep your own copy of anything that matters — export the PDF.
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that documents it produces will be accepted by any authority or counterparty.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the app — including a rejected title transfer, a disputed sale, or a document that turns out not to suit your circumstances. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken. Sections that by their nature should survive — responsibilities, disclaimers, limits of liability — survive.
If these terms change materially, the date at the top will be updated and, where appropriate, notice will be given in the app.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
