Common questions

How do I delete my account and everything in it?

In the app: Account → Delete Account. That erases your documents, your signatures, your saved profile and your sign-in record. It cannot be undone, so share or export anything you want to keep first.

I forgot my password.

Use Forgot password on the sign-in screen and a reset link is emailed to you. If you originally signed up with Apple or Google, use that same button instead — there's no password to reset.

Does a bill of sale from this app satisfy my state?

It produces a complete, signed bill of sale with the federal odometer disclosure where that applies. Some states also require notarization or their own form — the app tells you what it has verified for the state you select, and says plainly when it hasn't verified one. Always confirm with your state's motor vehicle authority.

Do I need a notary?

It depends on the state, and more often than people expect the requirement attaches to the vehicle title rather than the bill of sale. Select your state in the app and it will tell you what it knows.

My documents didn't appear on another device.

Documents sync to the account you signed in with. Make sure both devices are signed in the same way — an account created with Apple is not the same account as one created with the same email and a password.

Can I use this for something other than a vehicle?

Yes. Choose General item when you start a document — furniture, equipment, livestock, anything being sold privately.
